Thank you for taking the time to read my blog! I am a Dutchie who'd like to show you a different side of this little country that makes it oh so beautiful. I always get excited when I discover a hidden gem. My immediate reaction is to share it with as many people as possible. Most people that I've met during my travels have this idea that the Netherlands ends where Amsterdam stops. Of course you can't miss a city like Amsterdam with its rich history, museums, boutiques, bikes, canals, architecture, and notorious coffeeshops when you visit the Netherlands. But once you get off the beaten path, you'll see that this little country has a lot to offer in terms of historical towns, vast farmlands, beautiful national parks, and stunning beaches. The idea of this blog is to give some ideas for those wanderlusters who would like to broaden their 'Dutch' horizon.
